The target users’ needs are brought to life in the charming groundhog story. Based on the trend of a fitness-focused lifestyle, the groundhog represents the overweight, while the eagle represents fitness enthusiast. Taking advantage of the phone’s calorie counter feature, the groundhog survived by scanning itself with the camera, and scaring off the hungry eagle with its’ high calorie count. The ad uses a groundhog as a euphemism for the overweight and plays on the importance of monitoring calorie intake.

HUAWEI Mate 20 launched its’ new flagship smartphone, highlighting its Leica Triple Camera with ultra-wide angle 40MP lens.

To showcase the element of intelligent photography, specifically taking extreme wide-angle shots, we tell the story of astronaut Matt. He takes several risky actions to achieve his perfect wide-angle shot of the moon, but fails every time with hilarious consequences such as the hatch getting locked behind him and his safety tether getting unclipped, until he uses the HUAWEI Mate 20. The ad ends with alluding to the iconic moment of mankind’s first step on the moon as an Easter egg.
